I was diagnosed with kidney cancer on October 30, 2018, after having severe pain all weekend in my back on right side.  Thought maybe a kidney stone.  Well to my surprise, after 3 CAT scans and MRI, Wayne & I were told about the cancer :(  in both in both of my kidneys.   5 cm in left, 2 cm in right.  Two seperate cancers!!  November 29, I had my left kidney removed at MD Anderson.  I thought I was in the clear from treatment until the 7:30 phone call came from Dr. Karam on Wednesday, Nov. 12th that reports came back from pathology and the cancer had grown into a vein.  What a huge set back and shock.  I was originally going to wait 4-6 months before doing a partial on my right kidney, but now I will be going back to Houston on Monday the 17th.  I have to have my partial done sooner, so that I can start some kind of treatment plan  Phase 3 cancer, gotta kill whatever if any cancer cells that may be in my bloodstream.  So scared, but I know that Jesus has his plans for me and will always be right by my side every step of the way!!
