Tuesday April 13th, 2 weeks post op. Today the staples were removed and incision site looks good. The Dr is pleased with the recovery and gave us good news. All 28 lymph nodes removed were Neg. with cancer and boarders around the pancreas came out clear. Surprise news was the origin of the cancer was the common bile duct, not the pancreas! The CBD caused the cancer in the pancreas. That’s why all 3 stents were infected and Bob jaundice. Good news today!!
We are seeing the oncologist 4/26 and will find out when chemo will begin again.
