Hi Bob, I won't pretend to have gone thru what you have, but I've had a pain pump for many months and now, in order to have surgery on my spine, I need to withdraw from all of the medications that are in my pump. I don't trust that my clinic really knows what they're doing because it's been only a week and 1/2 and I'm in terrible pain with my back. I just have to get through until surgery. But what can be done I don't know. I want to have the surgery asap so I guess I'll keep looking for a doctor who knows how to do this withdrawal with minimal pain. Glad to hear you're coming along and I wish I was already done with my surgery!!
