Today was an exhausting but very helpful day. First appointment,  The surgeon is so nice and understanding. Port surgery next Tuesday. He is going to just try to replace the tunnel line but if he can't then take out out and new one on the other side of my chest. It will be done inpatient at Largo hospital.
Second appointment today is Allergist,  Dr. Kratz diagnosed me with chronic asthma. Dr. Kratz says I have inflammation in my airway and also restriction which is why its so hard for me to breathe in fully and feel like I'm suffocating sometimes. So he's tweeking my meds. He's been in touch with the other MCAS specialists in Tampa on a couple things we will try to long term treat my MCAS, But he wants to get the asthma more under control first. I go back to him in 2 weeks.
