After a wild ride, Mom is back home!  Despite testing negative, due to possible Covid-19 exposure, all the hospice patients were transferred to Duke Regional to the Covid floor!  😷 😱 That was a scary week!  After testing negative again, Mom was moved to the regular hospice floor and on Sunday, they brought her home in an ambulance.  The awesome folks at Duke Hospice helped us get everything ready for her return.  She is thrilled to be home with her family and her very loved and missed pets, Pippin and Peekaboo!  We are all exhausted but happy she is home!
