The 1st part of treatment #1 is in the book and went well. Debbie and I spent most of Wednesday getting educated on the plan of attack after I had my blood draw. Then, we returned to the Hope Lodge(our great accommodations😍)to have dinner, then just relax!
Thursday morning started at 6am to get my IV chemo port put in place, then a short recovery time, then off to my chemotherapy suite…again, 1st class!
5hrs later, we returned to Hope Lodge, grabbed some grub, then really crashed and burned for the night 😳!
We got an early start Friday, checked out of the fabulous Hope Lodge and hit the highway! Debbie did ALL of the driving and did a wonderful job! She
made the executive decision to leave Mayo, go to the beachside and travel A1A south…great choice, so relaxing 😍!!!
