Here’s an update regarding Bill’s upcoming surgery at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. His recent PET scan showed some improvement with the synovial sarcoma in the lining of his lung and showed no evidence of the cancer spreading elsewhere. At that point it was determined that he’s still a candidate for an Extrapleural Pneumonectomy and plans have been set. He and Tara will travel to Houston in mid November and his surgery date is set for November 19th. I will be able to come for a few days and be there when he has his surgery. 

Bill’s siblings have come to visit and help out during his treatment. His chemo treatments have been very rigorous and he’s handled it like a warrior.
