Hi Bill and Jan, Wow! You are doing great...Moving On Up! I am sure you will have your new team laughing at your stories in no time. And you can repeat some of the ones you told to your previous team! Once you get through this round of therapy, you can come up north to help shovel....Blizzard today with 8” of snow, but it is the light fluffy stuff, not too heavy. Take care and hugs all around, Flower.

Willyum, that's wonderful news about your progress. If I know one thing about you it's your tenacity. When you are determined to get somewhere or do something you do it. I am keeping you in my thoughts and sending "waves" of good energy your way. Thank you Janet for the update. It's terrific!

Brother Bill,

You and I are geographically about as far apart in the lower 48. I’m in Randallstown, MD for the winter. I’ve some body mechanics slated myself in a few months. Yeah, I lucked out on my heart occurrence back at the Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid...Am I an Olympian? Heck no! I was a spectator that didn’t want to wait for 2 hours to get on the chair lift and drug my date up the slope of White Face man on foot. Huffin’ and Puffin’ as I slipped and fell on the slope to the finish area of the Down Hill. Sheesh yes I had son tiny pain but unsung my acquired familiarity with REALL COLD from my 4 year NDSU career I was bounded to prove to this Eastern Shore gal that severe cold couldn’t deter me from getting us to the Finnish Area on schedule... SKi Patrol asked me twice if I needed assistance. What me. I know all about cold weather cuz.... We left the Finish Area of the Olympic Down Hill Run early...so we could ride the chair lift down...

Moral, the one thing my cold weather training at NDSU didn’t prepare me for...Climbing Up A Mountain in loose snow! You want to know how lucky I was...It was many years later when a cardiologist asked me when I had my heart attack? “Never,” I replied. The heart doc told me the EKG doesn’t lie...

OK, your loving wife post good steady progress reports. I congratulate you for having such a treasure. Took my 3 marriages to have the excellent fortune to find my bride Jeanne! Yes, and she embraces my little 13” beagle sleeping in bed with us...AND wants to go cruising with me on my Pacemaker...no not pacemaker but a 40ft PACEMAKER,

OK, I know you will write me some time. Just get better !

I’m really glad to see so many Sig’s have written you... I see that Jonathan was the last to write...oh, the names I’ve seen in your correspondence! I’d not heard them in ....Well since I graduated in 1968. I am in regular contact with Dave Mattson and Blaine Kruger. There are some that have written me this past year...Apparently one of the current GT chaps traced down the location of every living Chapter member and posted the directory!

The hour is now 1;25 EST....Good morning to you and your bride!

Tight Lines!

Alan
