Journal entry by Bill Elwell —
Hello everyone,
Seven days and and 1 hour ago.. I kissed my wife and children and headed to the operation room. It has been a week filled with firsts in my life, each one has given ab opportunity to try less and trust more... I can say without a doubt this has made all the difference in the world. I am not an emotional place to even name the overwhelming support I have experienced, The life changing care that has helped me over the humps, and provided insight into healthier living.
I had a quadruple bypass. The symptoms were almost unnoticeable or at least easily explained. However Ania Mortier who provides my primary care, is a great listener and picked up the things being said between the lines. Words cannot express gratitude for this "indescribable gift!" Stress test and a heart cathetarization, other tests and the surgery have confirmed it all... NO damage to my heart, No worn out valves, no electronic chaos, and now the plumbing has been replaced and upgraded. My commitment to healing and new life possibilities.
Sorry for the delay in posting, BUT so glad to be able to post. Look for this story to unfold over time. Enjoy your friends and family ,practice self care , and serve strong!
To Blessed to not be joyful
