Hi everyone!
This is Susan, Bill's daughter, writing this post. I am taking this over from my brother, David, who is dealing with his own medical issues (more on that later). He has most of the writing talent in our family, so please bear with me!
Dad had his usual 3 month appointment at Cancer Treatment Center of America yesterday. We are pleased to report that his doctor told him that his scan and blood work looked great and come back in 3 months! That actually was about the extent of the consult! We are very thankful for this encouraging report.
Dad and Alvina will both be celebrating birthdays this summer. Alvina is going to be 90 on June 24--a significant milestone! Dad is a year behind her and will be 89 on July 26. As a family we are thankful for their long lives and their godly examples in our lives.
My brother, David DeBoer, has had significant setbacks with his cancer. He is now under hospice care, but is currently feeling pretty good. If you'd like to follow his cancer journey here is the link to his CaringBridge site:

Thank you all for your prayers and support for Dad and Alvina. Please continue to keep David, Beth, and their family in your prayers. Since Dad seems to be doing very well we are probably not going to continue updating this site. We're going to go by the assumption that "no news is good news"!
