When I got to the hospital Tuesday morning I was so surprised to see that Dr. Browning had removed his trachea.
Dr. Browning made his runs very early in the day and I had been trying to catch him every morning to ask him questions.
Now I am worried that when dad starts radiation, will he still have an airway after the swelling? All of the ICU doctors told us that the mass was only biopsied but in my mind I thought Dr Browning had said he removed what he could.
He also had a surgical procedure to have his feeding tube removed from his nose and put into his stomach. After his procedure he slept for the rest of that night.
