Bill, you have somehow turned a life changing traumatic situation into a miraculous outcome and I am so happy that you are recovered and back to walking and enjoying life. Both yours and Colleen's positive attitudes, emotional strength and incredible perseverance are an inspiration to the rest of us.

Thank you for sharing your experience of seeing late loved ones. It must have been incredibly comforting to you. You have been through just so much, I can't begin to fathom it. In reading your very well-written last post -- it's clear that you haven't lost any of your cognitive ability: you're razor sharp! :) I'm so pleased for you, Colleen, and all your family that this dark chapter is ending happily. I received the shocking news of the accident on my birthday and, I won't easily forget the date.
Though your recent path has been beyond difficult, because I know you to be made of 'tough stuff', I never doubted for a moment that you would arrive at this wonderful place in your life.

You are a fortunate man. Yes, because of your recovery, but moreso because of the people who supported you throughout this ordeal. Heck, even relatives from the other side were rooting for you! I am so glad to hear how well you are doing and I admire how strong you all have been.
