Dear John, Aaron and I are so profoundly saddened by the passing of Betty. She showed so much kindness to us and to our children. I remember her hours volunteering at St. Andre as if it were yesterday. Thank you so much for the beautiful recounting of her life: it aligns perfectly with what we thought of her. John, I can't begin to imagine how much you must miss her today. Just know we deeply care. We send you all our love and hope to see you soon. Corinne, Aaron, Luke, Emily, and Evelyn Frechette.

What a magnificent lady! That is a beautiful message John, she sounds as if she had the most fulfilling, happy and blessed life. Of course there were no doubt challenges; she accomplished so much and would have worked hard to achieve all that she did; but oh! the deep love you have for her shines through in your lovely tribute. My deepest condolences go to you John, your family and all those who so loved this truly inspirational, wonderful lady. God bless you all and keep you in His hands, till you meet again.

John thank you for the details of Betty's and your life together. What an adventure! I remember when you came to Portland and Betty jumped right into volunteering. Didn't she take on Vacation Bible School when Bridget left unexpectedly? I know she was always ready to say yes when someone asked for help. Always a smile and enthusiasm for everything and everyone.

You are so right saying she opened her heart to me but she also got me to open my heart up to her and others. She will always live on in my heart and actions, what an amazing person she was and I am so grateful to have spent the time we had together.
