Betty’s Story

Site created on May 10, 2018

On Tuesday, Betty was staying over night at the Tobolt Farm in Ashby  with Wayne and David.  David noticed that she was not tracking conversation and seemed confused. He made the call to take her to the Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria,  MN. At the hospital she was diagnosed with a hemorrhagic stroke due to bleeding in the brain and immediately sent her in a helicopter to  the Saint Cloud Hospital for surgery.

The surgery went well and Betty is currently in the ICU at the Saint Cloud Hospital. She is still sedated as they drain blood off her brain. We are all waiting until this process is over and to wake her up and access what kind of damage as been done.

Wayne has rented a room next door and their children and grandchildren are traveling back and forth to stay with him.

Keep them in your prayers. We will not know what the future holds for at least 24 to 48 hours.
