Journal entry by Denise Lewis Premschak —
Dear Ones,
Grief and readjustment have been the order of our days. Dan said, "the air feels different," and that is certainly so.
Last week was empty and full at the same time. We made arrangements with the funeral home according to Mom's wishes and received family members who came from out of town. We said our last goodbyes on Saturday at a loving and uniquely Betty graveside service that included family and a few local friends. Access the printed program, the video of the service (40 minutes), and her published obituary at the links below.

Hunter, Evan, & Bre had to go home to Colorado on Sunday. Dan and Claire left for their Anchorage home yesterday. Donna, Bill, Carl, and I are taking a few days 'break' at the Jones' cabin -- it will be a nice shift of energy and scenery.
More photo gems have come our way and any we find in our foray into Betty's belongings will be shared here in the coming weeks as David, Deborah, Donna, Bill, Lillie, Carl, and I ready her house for sale.
I heard from so many as yesterday was my 65th birthday -- especially precious messages to receive during this tender time. Mom isn't here to celebrate, but we had a laugh about her living long enough to see me receive my Medicare card in the mail back in June.
We are grateful for you holding us gently throughout.
Blesses be.
