Betsy had her last chemotherapy around 3 weeks ago, and her first CT scan last week since before her surgery in March. This morning we had a telephone appointment with her oncologist.  We heard the news we have been waiting over 6 months to hear, “Betsy is Cancer-free.”  Her Doctor said she is doing great.  Betsy is all settled in her new home, in a condo in our building, 2 floors below us.  She will now begin the maintenance phase of her treatment and continue receiving clinical study treatments.  She is looking forward to returning to work, although that will be a little while longer due to Covid 19.    During these strange and scary times, it is finally nice to have something to celebrate.
