Sarah, I just now read your entries about Betsy. I had a chance to meet and get to know Betsy years ago when she was the AALS membership consultant for my school, Chapman Law School. Betsy quickly became one of my favorite people. I can’t imagine anyone who was so competent and also had so many fantastic stories about her experiences and people she knew. She is a force of nature Please tell Betsy that I am thinking good thoughts for her. Danny Bogart

Hi Betsy, I’ve thought of you often since we were together at the U of Colorado 40 years ago. You were a wonderful dean and fine friend too — and fun! Remember our law school running team for the Bolder Boulder race? Sorry to learn of your current physical challenges. I’m enjoying retirement in Maine. Al Alschuler

I’m so happy to read this update. I am a sometimes hiker with her hiking group, not sure if she’d remember me or not as I usually only hike with the group around the holidays (work gets in the way the rest of the time). I think of Betsy often! I’m so glad this site is kept up. <3

Thank you Sarah - my heart leaps when I see that you have posted an update. Betsy is amazing and continues to inspire. I look forward to hearing more about Betsy’s experiences as Dean compared with the woman she broke the glass ceiling for! Please give her a BIG hug from me 💗
