Beth’s Story

Site created on March 20, 2018

In January I thought I had the stomach flu, but I didn't get better.  After lots of tests and doctors' appointments we finally figured out that I have cancer.  At this point we know it is in my abdomen and liver.

Another musical reference by Verve Pipe that says it all.

One amazing woman. One amazing life together. My shining star burned bright for all.

Beth lost her battle to an incurable cancer. As sad as any passing is we were able to fulfill all of her wishes.
  • She was pain free and at peace.
  • She was at home in a room that was her favorite spot to relax.
  • Most important ... She was never alone.

I wish I could say more than just thank you to all of the friends, family and neighbors that made her life so full. They were with her until the very end.
The support we received was overwhelming. I could not have asked for anything better for her.

I don’t have to tell you….. in her book lives were pages. She filled them all with love, style and grace.

Her book was a best seller.

Thank you social media…… I could not have reached out to so many people.

There will be a funeral service celebrating her life Sunday July 22 nd at 5:00 pm. in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom, MN.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 5 at the church.

Honoring her wishes, Beth preferred that memorial contributions be directed to the scholarship fund at Trinity Lutheran Church.
