We are praying fervently everyday (and sometimes several times a day) for Beth’s strength and for her body to tolerate the “poison concoction” meant to kill the cancer or environment hospitable to cancer and yet to heal and cure her! I remember well this exhaustingly long chemo days. Praying the side effects are minimal to non-existent and that this week can be one of rest and abiding/trusting in Him, who is working to grant Beth holy, perfect healing!
I wrote out scriptures on index cards (and also received many from my students) to encourage me or just read in prayer when I couldn’t think of what or how to pray at times. Chemo brain can sometimes cause some memory delay or fogginess!
These were so helpful for me! Jim and I often read and prayed through scriptures together, as a way of focusing on His faithfulness to us in every step of the journey!
May He grant you a peace from having your minds stayed on Him!
We love you and will continue to pray for you daily!

Thought about you often today and hoping you are able to eat and keep up your strength. Read a little bit on line about everything can taste different due to the chemicals. Praying that meals are pleasing right now.

Beth, continuing to pray every day for you and your sweet family. I'm sure this won't be an easy time for any of you, but we're trusting the Lord will use these treatments to totally and completely heal you!
