Journal entry by Beth Duplechin

It’s a new year and I’m still here….my cancer has not shrunk but chemo and radiation are holding it steady. I have some hope. Continuing chemotherapy as long as I tolerate it, it continues to work, and I become operable.  The major blood vessel encasement makes me inoperable at the moment.  I’ve been started on steroids and it’s masking my symptoms better. My healthy pancreas has had the blood supply cut off to it and it is now atrophied. I will become diabetic and have to take insulin, but I’m alive now.  Thank everyone for the prayers. If you could donate to help cover my $700everyother week chemotherapy copay, I’d appreciate it immensely as I’m on social security disability.
