I have struggled with my emotions when reading your updates so I can only imagine how difficult it must be to write them. I have also sat here for several minutes trying to think of something upbeat and/or supportive. I'm clearly not as eloquent as you have been. Suffice to say that I admire both the fight in Beth and the support and love you provide. You all are in my prayers.
It was wonderful to see you last week for our Easter visit. My family was grateful you made the trip and we remain in Ah of your positive attitude and your pure will to beat Cancer. Our prayers are with you as you face this setback. You're a truly an inspiration and deserve to win!! Love David & Family
Beth, It was wonderful to see you during your recent visit. You're always in my prayers especially today after learning you had a difficult week. Remember you're the most courageous person I know and I remain confident you will win this battle. Looking forward to spending time together in October where we can celebrate your victory while raising a glass to Katie & Brian !! Love David, Kelli, Lommen & Archer
Hello, Mark and Beth Thank you for the update - I am so happy to learn you've gotten in a couple of fun trips...and golfing. Spring is here and everything is blooming (amidst a lot of rain on the east coast, that is). Seeing things grow and bloom reminds me of your journey - there may be "rain" at times, but that brings things blooming - like the love of good friends, the love for life, and the love you have for each other.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Beth try and stay strong and rely on all of those around you to lift you up and give you strength while you concentrate on healing yourself.
Mark, I know it is going to be very difficult having to be the cheerleader and want to make everything "ok" for Beth. Just remember you are a very compassionate man who loves his wife and pray for her healing and God will answer your prayers.
Nick, I know exactly how you must feel after what we went through when our mom (your dads Auntie Carol) was sick two years ago. Just say as many prayers as you possibly can for your mom and the Lord will hear them. It will be a very trying time but keep up your strength and cheerfulness for your mom as she will need all of it you can give to her.
