Dearest Family & Friends, 

Quick update for Bess' healing journey:

A couple of weeks ago we met with our oncology team to review results from our last chemo/immunotherapy treatment and got the greatest news that the tumor was almost gone!!  The Docs are not sure if the chemo drugs or immunotherapy drug or a combination of, made this happen but WE DO KNOW that everyone's prayers and the Good Lord has had a profound effect on Bess' healing.

The next phase is to eradicate any cancer cells left with daily radiation and once a week chemo for 6 weeks. Then cap it off with a fun trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras!

We are still humbled by all your love, support, food, cards, errands, rides to the doctor, etc. etc. but especially your continued prayers that give Bess all the strength she needs.
