Hello family,
I have not had the pleasure to meet all of you. In the last couple of years when Ben was at Trailside, he talked about his family and showed me so many pictures of you all. I saw many pictures of you enjoying the skiing at Arctic Valley and summer pictures of good family times. He loves you so much. I am so saddened to hear about this accident and know in my heart he is strong and will pull through. He is such a gentle generous soul who filled Trailside with so much positivity. Even though he is not at our school this year, we hope you know you have a whole community of support. Please reach out if you need anything, but in the meantime know a whole school community is thinking, praying, and saddened by this tragic accident. I am hoping to hear positive news on Monday that he is on his way to recovering and this intensely scary time has passed. Until then I hope all the prayers and thoughts wrap you and your family in some sort of comfort.

Nikki, we are thinking of you and sending love.
Ben, we don’t usually pray but Ben (other Ben) and I are praying for you. We haven’t been lucky enough to see much of you the past few years but we miss you and were both just thinking of you.
I’ll be wearing my fish hook earrings (made by you), looking at the coffee table you helped me round the corners on, and wishing all the good things for you. Sending so much love.
