I am so happy for you all that Ben is doing so good. Continued prayers for his full recovery. We are going to Iowa City with Abbie for her disease and chronic migraines. They are amazing doctirs . We have been so impressed and thankfull for them.
It is a scary world what is happening as far as education. I worry what my grandkids will be dealing with over the next few years.
I totally understand where you are coming from on the cost of Diabetic supplies and medications. I don't understand it at all. Hugs and prayers.

So glad all of Ben's news is positive. We here in North Carolina are still thinking and praying for all of you. You are right about the health care situation. When everyone is healthy you do not think about what the rest of the world is going through. We have had a good year of health, nothing since Micah's heart scare, so we take it for granted. My diabetes is so much easier to manage than Claires Type 1. It will be a lot of work for the whole family forever. We love and miss you all and will see you all in March when we make it back north. Count me in on the walk in May!!!!!

Thanks for the update Jill!! Been thinking about you a ton today with the first big competition of the season tomorrow. I was thinking about the end of last season when all hell broke loose and the roller coaster you've been on. Ben's news is absolutely amazing and truly a miracle!! Thanks for filling us in. I pray the goods news just keeps on coming. And we will absolutely be part of the JDRF team in May (walking not running right? You know I'm not a runner😂 but I'll walk all day for Claire - love that girl.) And Brynn....oh my goodness...Brynn. Rachel is ALWAYS cracking up about something Brynn did or said. I love her humor and how she's always making fun of Rach and Claire in a funny way.
And then there's the other topics. Every time I hear our state leader talk about AEA I just cringe and of course immediately think of you and the other wonderful people I've known over the years that do such important/needed work at AEA. Ugghh. And all I can say about the health issues is I just hate that you have such first hand knowledge of the most pressing and troublesome issues. I'm thankful for all the amazing medical professionals like Ben's radiologist that have cared for your family especially this past year despite being burt out, over worked, exhausted etc. I'm praying 2024 is so much better and you can start to exhale a little more every day. We'll keep the prayers coming and hopefully showchoir and basketball will be a nice little escape. Safe travels tomorrow.
