I am a math teacher at Forest Lake High School and Ben was a student of mine. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I remember the kindness that Ben would display in the classroom as well as his smile. Based off of the words I hear you and others speak of him, I can only assume he maintained that kindness into his adult life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you grieve the loss of his being with you and may you be granted patience while you wait to see him again.

Knowing Ben primarily through you, your kids and this cancer journey I can still say with confidence that as Paul did, Ben ran the race of life set before him, he fought the good fight and now he has received his crown.....for that my heart too is so very thankful. Also, I want to acknowledge that the way your family allowed Christ to shine through your suffering was a gift to the rest of us and it surely glorified our King. Thank you.
