I’ve know BJ since around 1994 when we moved to the Colorado Ave house in Bloomington. Elliot and BJ were in baseball together. I have many memories of BJ coming to our house to hang out. We created this awesome “gang” called “THE BATS” and would throw up the Bat hand signal often, even in our adulthood. Pretty sure it was basically only me, BJ, and Elliot as a part of it.

Over the next many years I got closer to him, but much more so after Ell passed. BJ, like a LOT of other Bloomington friends of Ell’s was extremely loyal. He was a part of every Elliot or Linda get-together. He would reach out to me to see how I was, or just to talk. BJ was one of the best friends any of us could have.

I will miss him so much. Hoping him and Elliot are with eachother somewhere, somehow. Best buddies reunited.

Love you bro. One Time

I grew up with BJ but we recently had gotten close again over the last few years. He would come up with the best homemade meals to make for me at his home and we would just eat and laugh and talk for hours it seemed. He was always willing to lend a listening ear and support me in anyway he could. He was so loved! BJ was a dear friend to me and I will miss him greatly.

BJ had this awesome black truck in HS. I remember we would pack way too many dudes into that thing all the time. Going to Dennys. Playing disc or just driving around the hood. He had a light up neon shifter. He was a bad ass in that truck <3
