Around 6:30 this morning, Benjamin gained his wings.
Benny’s organs began shutting down quite rapidly throughout the afternoon yesterday.
His body was telling us that it was tired and needed more rest than what the machines could help with.
After talking through Ben’s care needs, we decided it was in his best interest and for his comfort, that we slowly draw back on care after family had time to say their goodbyes.
Benjamin and Sophia were able to be baptized together, which was extremely special to our family.
Benny is no longer in pain. He is no longer suffering. He is able to do all of the things a little boy should be able to do!
At this time we don’t have any sort of funeral arrangements set up.
Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we go through this difficult transition.
