Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We also decided to start this site and may transfer information into a blog format so that more people can access the information.  We feel as though we are called to spread the word and hope that no other parent has to experience what we have and no other child will have to deal with this situation for the rest of their life.

The Beginning

We found out that we were expecting in November of 2016-we could not be happier!  We looked forward to our little one arriving in July of 2017.  At our 20 week ultrasound, we found out that we were going to have a little boy, we also found out that he had a two-vessel umbilical cord instead of the tri-vessel cord.  According to my doctor, we would continue monitoring his growth, and there shouldn't be any issues.
