I am happy to say that yesterday I completed the final round of the reconstructive phase, and the end of a long journey. Since receiving my diagnosis, of breast cancer, in February I have been faced with many decisions and life changing procedures. A weary process but a necessary part of “the fight” that I am determined to win! Many prayers have been answered and I am forever grateful to my dear family and friends who have supported me in this past year.

I am looking forward to the promise of a new beginning in 2019. While I will continue to adjust to my “new normal”, complete with medical follow-up appts, medication, and screenings to keep my opponent at bay, I hope to celebrate many milestones as a BC survivor! I am thankful, grateful, and blessed... and I welcome your continued prayers and support.
