Bella was one of the best friends I ever had. Meaning closest but also meaning best at being a friend. She remained passionately invested in a years-long unrequited crush saga of mine, long past what could be reasonably expected. She was so kind and wise and good to people, but also delighted at whatever hot gossip I brought back to our apartment. She was just always so excited to have fun. Once we watched a dust bowl documentary and made corn cakes to match. We spent a semester watching Lindsay Lohan’s entire filmography together. We rode our bikes around Missoula in the dark and never locked our front door, among other dangerous and stupid decisions. I loved how long she spent on the phone with her family every time someone called. How highly she spoke of her friends. I feel so lucky our paths ever crossed. Much much love to you Bella.

Dear Lynne, Chip and Milo, Sending love and warm thoughts to you as I just today heard that Heaven received a beautiful angel. Bella made a lasting impression on every person she communicated with and knew how to spread joy know matter what she was facing. You are all in my prayers.
I may have a empty spot in my heart with Bella's passing, but it is filled with JOY knowing Bella and loving her. A very special person. Thankful to always have her joy with me.
