Becky Edwards is a true Wilmington, North Carolina native. Born and raised in the Port City, she is the mother of three wonderful children and grandmother to 4 amazing grandchildren.  Having raised three children in the Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach area, Becky became a second mother to many of her children's friends.  The amount of lives this wonderful woman has touched throughout her lifetime is countless.  While she never asked for anything in return, we are now asking for your help.


Becky experienced a fall in August 2019 which resulted in a hip injury.  After several weeks of therapy and being under the supervision of doctors, the healing progress was slow.  She had also developed a cough in the late spring, which continued to worsen as the summer wore on.  The cough was attributed to allergies or a summer cold that she just couldn't shake.  In addressing the slow progress of the hip injury, the doctors were pressed to look into the persistent cough.  The results were a spot on her lungs, which has been confirmed to be Stage 4 lung cancer. 


Now, we all know one thing about Becky, this woman is a fighter.  She is going to fight this thing! What we are asking from everyone who reads this is to pray, brave for Becky, pray for her to maintain the strength
