I only knew Barb a few short years as exercise pals at LA Fitness. What a beautiful and loving woman. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of her. I think of her often and cherish the time we had together.
My love and thoughts are with you.

Jeff, Brian and Caity; I didn't know you had a Caring Bridge site up; such a great way to communicate with everyone. Caity--your message made my eyes water. My mom passed away 11 years ago to Ovarian Cancer--all you said rang true. My mom's mantra was "Soldier On". The poem you wrote--spot on. Jeff-your quote made my eyes water again. I am so sad for all of you that Barb has passed on; I feel lucky to have been a small part of your lives when I knew Barb in the way back as a nurse and a few parties at the Morray's! Jeff when you were a resident, and then the "kids" who are now grown with families of their own. Sucks to lose someone so caring and wonderful, but all are so lucky to have known Barb, even if it was in the smallest way--she always made you feel important. Hugs to all, Karen Kilian
Jeff and family - I think Caity's words say it best - It's amazing that a breaking heart can still feel so full of love and thankfulness. It's certain Barb felt the same. Her life and love will surround you all always. Love and Heartfelt Caring Thoughts, Marilyn
I am so very sorry for you and your family's loss. Matt has shared many stories of good times he had with her and your family. Hugs to all of you and God's comfort and peace 💗
Following along every step of the way, wishing I was there to give each of you a tight hug. She was so blessed (as were you) to be by each other’s side for so many years. While working, I have patients all the time who mention they have been with their spouse for 25+ years. I always ask them “what’s the secret.” I’m certain you and Barb could give us “youngsters” many secrets on a long lasting marriage. What a joy to be a small part of y’all’s lives. Love you big time!
Dear Caity
You are an eloquent writer and kept us well informed and in stitches sometimes, with Barbs's progress. When I think of barb, I remember her smile and her grace. She will live on in all hearts and minds. "Gammy" as the kids called her will be missed. Jeff the quote is very appropriate both for Barb and for our time.
Love and Hugs.
Chandra
