It's Day 8 after my required mastectomy.  Yesterday, I took no hyrocodone to see if I had finished needing it--not done! I didn't realize until this morning how much this pain med. is assisting my dealing with healing pain! Back on "track" I feel comfortable enough to sleep and feel grateful. What a process! Nathan, our son, helps me with measuring my draining fluid twice a day. I can see compassion in his expression. He is a huge support. We ARE getting through this. Peace, Barbie
