I have loved your Mom since high school...many wonderful fun adventures together, then and over he years with the "no bridge bridge group". She was so warm, friendly and a real "hoot". We had so many, many laughs, so many memories.. I am so sorry for your loss and the loss to everyone else who loved her.
I was happy to have met with your Mom about a month ago for lunch. We had not been together for almost 15 yrs. All the memories were discussed about when we met in about 1972 in Madison Newcomers. Our Tom and Sue grew up with you and spent time skating on lake Mendota at your Grandparents house. Such fond memories. It was a blessing we could share those memories one last time. Thank you for giving us a chance to be part of this journey. We loved your mom and dad, and we love you too. We are sad, but we are happy too because we know Barb was ready and she was able to die at home with her beloved daughters.

Barb was always a great example of making the best of each day. We have all been privileged of her example of embracing whatever came her way. And we are all better for having known her.
