After we received “the letter”, Dan and I were emotional, in disbelief and shock, unsure of what to do, what to say, should we make contact, etc. We knew the one thing we could do was pray and we started praying throughout the day for healing.

Dan, myself, my Mom and my Dad, were blessed beyond measure to have you as our “great” Physician, and friend, for all your career! You were the most connected, concerned, thorough, caring, loving, detailed, compassionate physician we had and will ever have! We were never, EVER, just a “number” to you. You personally knew each one of us and called us by name…the Great Shepherd tending “her” flock.
BTW – I have Weiss surname matches on my DNA. No doubt it is on the Nehring side of my family. You know my Dad would be thrilled to know there may be some connection! He and my Mom loved you!!
