Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. My moms health has started to decline over the last few years. Barb has battled uncontrolled diabetes for 25years. About two years ago mom lost her hearing and close to four years ago she lost her eye sight. The newest issues mom is experiencing is kidney failure and started dylisis about 8mo ago sense then her health has declined fast. 2mo ago mom was hospitalized in fargo and then moved to a long term care facility in Fergus Falls. On December 9th mom was sent to the ER in Fergus Falls- she was placed on a ventilator and sent back to Sandford I'm Fargo. Mom suffered fluid over load, cardiac arrest, high blood sugars, high blood pressure and pneumonia.

Update- Spent the day with mom. She is still very weak but becoming more stable and less confused tonight. They are trying to slowly get her off the oxygen. At this point shes on two liters of oxygen and can't bare weight.
