Ms. Barbara,

I’m not in your regular orbit, but you have crossed my mind and heart frequently over the past months. I’m praying that by this time next year, your own reports will be filled with “good news of great joy”.

Pax Christi,

David

Dearest Barbara,
I will pray Psalm 121 as "I lift my eyes" to our foothills on my daily walks.
Much love,
Rhonda

Hey Barb
Just found this email regarding your cancer, treatments etc....just signed up to have posts go to text where I will be sure to see them. Don’t read email too often. I know that is large coming from girl who does not have Facebook account!!
So sorry to hear about this... and so late into your treatments.
You are a strong faithfilled woman. I am confident you battle this cancer!
Catching up on all your posts. Brigid read some because she saw me laughing and wondered what I was laughing at. Anyway she handed the phone back to me and said “ I want to meet her some day!” 💕

I've often heard that the difference between a good writer and bad writer is that the good writer can take what's in her heart and mind and put it on paper. The difference between a good writer and a great writer is, then, what's in her heart and mind. You are a great writer. I thought of this: Isaiah 46:2 "I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them."

As always, I am blown away by your transparency. Thank you for being honest.
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I will hope in him.’” Lamentations 3:22–24
