One of my favorite wedding stories actually came from the wedding of a friend’s son.
The father stood up to give a toast to the bride and groom at the groom’s dinner. But, beforehand he gave a bit of truly memorable advice.
He began by mentioning that he and his wife have been married for 35 years. As they planned their marriage ceremony, they discussed many things including who made which decisions in the marriage.
It was decided that the husband would make all major decisions. The wife would pretty much take care of all the rest.
He concluded by saying,” I can report to you this evening that in 35 years of marriage, I have yet to make a major decision.”

Brought the house down.
