Dearest Cousin Barbara, Think of you each and every day. You are my super-heroine. Your humor penetrates everything. Melanie and I are always praying for you.
Sue Staszak (works at a bookstore) ordered Michael's book. Her review............riveting..........should be a series.
She will be giving the book to Melanie and then me.
A huge hug to you both.
Cousin Cecelia (and Melanie)
Your descriptions about something so horrible are wonderful. I have a good friend whose adult daughter has just been diagnosed. I read your words and hope I can distill wisdom I need, to add comfort to them. I thank you for this. Though I have never met you- (I know Mike) -I can tell you are a brave woman. Wishing you strength, and a new and improved "cocktail."
That is pretty vivid description! Won’t leave my mind for awhile. What color do you envision the cat? Ask for more dope or morphine or blood. Don’t be a hero. Love you Barbara ❤️
I keep hoping one of these days you’ll have found a magic pain portion. Not being able to enjoy favorite foods/drinks is bad enough, but to be nauseated and caused pain by them is wrong.
I’m glad you are able forgo transfusions for a time.
Best wishes!
Oh Barbara, what a beautiful, horrible , pain-filled narrative!! You write so vividly, you make it easy for me (and your followers) not just to sympathize but to empathize with you. Then on top of everything you make it sound as if it were a stand-up comedy routine.! Marvelous Mrs Maisel has nothing on you!!
“Love you, dear!”
Barbara:
Based on your horrific description, I truly hope that one of your new meds is the sun screen that coats that esophagus totally!
As always, I appreciate your humor that that fills these posts.
Sending hugs, kisses, and much love to you through the airwaves!
