💙One Year Post Transplant Annual Heart Cath ❤️
Forrest had is annual heart cath today. This heart cath is a little more detailed then the previous ones. It goes in from the groin instead of the neck (all of his has been through the neck except for his very first one); going from the groin they can examine both the left and the right side of the heart. Today they checked pressures and biopsies for checking for rejection like they usually do but also checked his coronaries. Both the surgeon and Dr.Kindel (Transplant Cardiologist) said everything looks good with Forrest’s heart. There continues to be some thickening but not any worse then previous studies. We will get biopsy results tomorrow.
Forrest handled his recovery well; woke up smiling at the nurse. 😊 He got his first bottle of orange Gatorade and first cherry popsicle and of course enjoyed both! Forrest amazed his recovery nurse on how well he handled his recovery! We are so proud♥️
Thank you for all your continued prayers and support!!!💙
