Journal entry by Alexandra Waltzing

Good afternoon everyone 😁
Just popping in, to post an update on how Ava’s eye appointment went this morning. All great news, such a huge sigh of relief and a breath of fresh air.

Her eye pressure was 17 in her right eye, they weren't able to get an eye pressure reading for her left eye-being that her eye stayed almost shut for the entire appointment. At this time, the plan for Ava being fitted for her prosthetic eye, is still set for, when she turns 6/7 years old, if nothing new arises by then. Today she upgraded to the letter flash cards vs just the shapes. She did very well at those tests, which made me tear up, with joy and happiness. At her check ups, I tend to think about how her very first appointment was, vs how they are now, and how truly, a blessing and an absolute miracle it is. Her eye glass prescription hasn't changed at all, which is really good-she hasn't had a change since last May. Her next eyecheck up is scheduled for May 30th at 8:45am.
