AUSTIN IS HOME!!!! He was released this afternoon directly from ICU. Austin is registering with TIRR tomorrow for the Challenger Program, an intensive daily outpatient program that will focus on cognitive and physical abilities. Austin has some follow-up appointments this week and next but then hopefully not again for 6 months! He’s so happy to be home and we are all so relieved! Looking forward to starting therapy and getting life back to normal. Austin is strong and we are confident of his full recovery!!!

We can’t thank you enough for all of your prayers, strength and support. This is a long road, but we just finished the hardest part! Cheers to progress!!!!!! And a fond goodbye to all of the wonderful and caring nurses and doctors at Methodist Hospital! We truly could have not received any better care  Thank you for saving my husband!
