I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm a 48 year old woman with TS, I had open heart surgery in 2003 to replace my aortic valve.

Karie,
My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. Your very well written journal is testament to the great bond, love and commitment you have as a mom. The “whys” of heartbreak in life can’t ever be answered until heaven. Reagan’s half sister, Angela, died at the age of 21 after a lifelong daily battle with Cystic fibrosis. Much of what you write about concerning daily care and endless dr visits was Angela’s life. Don has a children’s memorial garden built in her memory. There are memory paver stones dedicated to the children who have died too soon. I would like to buy one in memory of Aubrey and when you are ready you can go see it. Please let me know if that is okay with you. Prayers continue. I will be at the funeral.
