Her first appt was at 12. Ashley did blood draws. This was following by an appt. with Dr. Gundabolu or Dr. G. He explained the process, risks and what to expect. I lost count of how many times he said, due to your age. Anyways, meant a RN about a platelets trial which Ashley signed up for. They are adding Vitamin B to her platelets which they do in Europe for the past 10 years so not to big of a deal. Finally the time has come to get her room where she will be staying for the next 3 weeks. We met a lot of doctors once we were in the room. I tried to set up her room to make it as comfortable as I could for her. We spent the night watching movies and video chatting with her parents and the kids.
