Dearest Artful, I am super glad for you, for all if it—even living in a grownup house! Happy happy. Sending love from both of us.

Some alignment was changed in the poem I just sent.

The poem's title is Carouse Me.

pluck me into naught
carouse me into oblivion are Soharb's words. Last 2 lines are a note.

Fabulous news. Yes, dancing from the rooftops and the street. And a poem.

Carouse Me
pluck me into naught
carouse me into oblivion - Soharb Sepehri

I seek meaning
in the hem of your skirt
strings of our robes

your face as close
as the fragrance of god
grace of night sky

an open window a little wind
a little sleeping breath
lovers moan loosen knots

upside down
bejeweled and overflowing
flesh of a woman voice of a man

dance on the roof
in the streets
your sacred work calls my name

send magpies with stolen treasure
let go  knot by knot
cedar scents the air oregano sleeps

I am empty
I will not muddy the waters
or cover god's footprint on this page

upside down
between sleep and touch
we cry out

a few of Soharb's words
after an evening of drinking him in

Great news my brother. You are a real inspiration. Hope to see you in person but at least virtually in Jan. for Fr. John's birthday. Planning a Zoom party. Love you and wonderful 65+ years of memories. Gary
