Arora’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate any and all support for Arora through this journey. Here is her story so far... Arora is my sweet 8 yr old daughter. She has struggled with bed wetting and asthma for years. On 12/30/2020 Arora went to her pcp for an asthma flair up. Her doctor found an insanely high blood pressure and thank god she had the instinct to check the protein levels in her urine (also very high). We went to the Phoenix Children's Hospital. After days of testing we found out Arora has a condition called Reflux Nephropathy. Because of her condition she is now in STAGE 4 KIDNEY FAILURE. Arora will need a kidney transplant asap and another in 15 to 20 years. This experience has been frightening and disheartening for our entire family. Any kind words or help with funding would be appreciated more than you can imagine. I will continue to update everyone here.

BTW... She is O positive and can only receive a kidney from a donor with O type blood.
