Newest Update

Journal entry by Arno Pinnow

Happy new year to all and wishes of Health Wealth and Happiness to all.

I know its been a long time since I did this and it is embarassing how poor my social skills are.  I first of all want to invite you all to let me know when we can get together again.  I extend an open invitation to each of you to my home/shop at any time.  My phone number is still 816 941-9009 but if the call comes in without a caller ID I do not answer.  Just leave a message and I will call back when I see it.

I wanted to add a couple of pictures but the technology is not letting me at the moment.  The pictures are of my last tomato of 2022 hanging on the vine in my ofice and the first hibiscus bloom of the new year right next to it.  How awsome how God and nature keeps on giving us beautiful gifts for our use and enjoyment.

My life this year has consisted of 4 sewer problems that led to a basement remodel, meeting severeal new people and a couple of short trips including my last one to Branson for some Christmas showsbut the real focus of my life this year has been the start up of a cnc router engraver and a laser engraver, making cutting boards with custom engravings and stack boards to set up hobby business.  My granddaughter has set up a fantastic site on Instagram {ALPin_Creations} and now I am setting up an Etsy shop for opening in 2023.   I have added a line of "smalls" - seasonal wall art and table decor for sale at my craft show booths. I can tell you those are hard work, not profitable and yet fun to meet other artisans and customers.  Also need to thank my friends for their assistance in the booth.

I have enjoyed regular contact with my family and my God and have joined the Kansas City Woodworkers Guild so I have always something to focus on.  Unfortunately that has made my lose focus on what is really important in life - keeping in touch with friends.  Please help me correct that in the new year!  You are welcome at my [dusty] house at all times and I would like to get together in the near future with you help to properly catch up.
