Ariel-your strength and courage through this journey are the core of you.

Your journey educates and inspires others going through similar diagnosis as well as all who your words touch. Thank you for sharing yourself so eloquently.

Love you and can’t wait to read about your adventures and all the great things in store for you in the year ahead! ❤️

What a journey! Reading the timeline is such a testimony to your endurance, the advocacy of your parents, the skill of the caregivers, and the mission that is yours alone to fulfill. You are fulfilling it mightily! Much love, Grammy

Ariel-Lion of God. The name fits. You are a force and I’m proud to be your blood. I can’t imagine what it must be like for you look at this timeline and reflect on what you have gone through and where you are now. Amazing. I am thankful to God and so proud of your strength.

Wow. What a ride. Also I’m mad that no one put you on estrogen for an entire year after getting your ovaries out. That must have been awful.

[adding this because I’m personally invested in what you accomplished in the spring of 2023 which you omitted]
February 2023- You travel out of the country and continue to remember what you’re made of on a journey to southern Mexico where you realize you’re entirely capable of grabbing life by the horns again when you rough it on long bus rides and kick ass on paddleboard adventures across a giant lagoon and dive head first into underground caverns; you subsist almost solely on street tacos and green juices on the beach and remember how good food is when it’s not coming from a bag; and you realize you only had to squat behind ancient Mayan ruins a couple of times during the full eight days, therefore largely overcoming a lot of bathroom anxiety that once existed. ¡VIVA!
