Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of posting over the last few months. Friday August 7th I hit a milestone. It was my last day of chemo!! After 6 treatments I am done!
This last Friday I had a follow up mri to see how the tumor responded to the chemo. My surgeon called and said the mri showed complete response meaning the 3.5cm tumor is not visible on mri. Although she said this isn’t always perfect it is the best we can hope for until we get in there during surgery in September! We couldn’t be happier!
We still have a long road ahead with surgery, and continued HER2 treatments, we couldn’t be happier to be done with one milestone.
