Antonio’s Story

Site created on September 18, 2019

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  Anton went in for his CDOT physical and a heart murmur was detected. After our Dr. confirmed it an echo of his heart was done. They found a very large aneurysm at the junction to the Heart of the Aortic artery. They also found valves not working at all. After many more CT scans and MRIs Heart surgery is needed within the next few months before heart failure occurs. An aneurysm was also detected in his brain and will be monitored and dealt with after surgery. Through all of this Anton is no longer employed and unable to collect unemployment as he is incapable of work at this time, for some time. Anton has 3 more tests and procedures before scheduling the date of surgery. This is going to be a long journey of recovery and then also rediscovery of new career futures for Anton as driving may not be an option anymore. Anton is not only our provider but a loving Father to our 6 kids, an amazing Husband, brother, and son. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. If you can donate it would be so appreciated as we hope to keep a happy, healthy and stable home for everyone, especially the kids. Thank you for visiting, please share our story, pray for us and hug the ones you love a little tighter.

Anton is in His first Cardiac Therapy appointment now and later today we will meet with Dr. Q, his Heart Doctor😃 Our first Post-Op appointment is scheduled for next Wednesday in Lakewood. Anton will have a chest X-ray, stitches removed and a few other tests that day. We are looking forward to his continued progress and more hurdles out of the way!
